Einstein and Eddington (2008)

It's 1914 and two scientists' lives are about to collide.

And the consequences lead to one of sciences biggest breakthroughs - the theory of relativity.

It's little wonder then that Doctor Who's David Tennant and Andy Serkis are basking in praise.

Not for their own personal contribution to science, you understand.
But rather for their sheer acting briliance in BBC2's Einstein & Eddington.
This feature documents how German theorist Albert Einstein (Andy) and British astrophysicist Arthur Eddington (David) joined their brilliant minds to come up with a theory that threatened to destabilise the base of Newtonian physics as it was known nearly 200 years ago.

It's nice to see David step out of his Doctor Who comfort zone and his acting brillianty matches that of Andy.
